Homer tells that Ulysses in the Odysseus came to Sivota before going back to his kingdom of Ithaca after his journey. Local legend? Actually it is really difficult to not succumb to the charm of this quiet port. The hospitality of the Greeks people and the delights of their food make of this place a small paradise.

The villa Koumaria is only few minutes from the port, by a small road into the hill. Surrounded by olive trees, overlooking the sea and the mythical island of Ithaca, the villa offers amazing views.

The villa can accommodate 9 people, family or friends, who wish to holiday in a unique setting, and a luxurious and contemporary home witch offering adequate services (cleaning twice a week). You can find peace and quiet, or places to play sports (sailing, windsurfing, quad, VTT) and partying. The villa is ideally located on the island. Teenagers are also very happy: freedom and security are total.

The Villa Koumaria can accommodate up to 9 people, with 4 bedrooms, 3 with private bath.

# OUTSIDE

A large terrace with white stones surrounds the pool and an outside shower. A garden with flowers is all around the terrace. An olive tree provides shade and privacy for those who want. This place is the best one outside for the evening aperitif.
Close to the villa, an area with a large wooden table and a barbecue.

# GROUND FLOOR (terrace level)

The house is designed to be always open to the outside: through large windows and fixed windows, the impression is to be both on the sea and in the garden. fully equipped (TV, satellite, DVD player, WiFi Internet connection), and open kitchen also fully equipped with a bar and stools.

Two rooms with a bed of 180 x 200, one with its own bathroom, the other with a shower. Each has its own toilet. There is other toilet near the kitchen.

# FIRST FLOOR

Large open room with 3 beds 90 x 200. Ideal for children.

# FLOOR -1

(the house is built on a hillside and has 3 levels including two accessible through the garden.

A large room with 2 beds 90 x 200, which becomes a bed 180 x 200 for a couple. Large shower and WC. This room is perfect for couples or for teenagers. Room accessible also from the garden.

Laundry with washing machine and ironing board.

# OUTSIDE GARDEN

A small living like a shelter near the house allows to isolate themselves from the noise of the pool and the terrace. Surrounded by flowers of bougainvillea, lavender, laurel and roses, this space is a true green tranquillity for those who want to nap.

# ACCESS

The villa Koumaria is 2.5 km from the port of Sivota, its taverns and shops. 4 minutes by car, 15 minutes on foot.
Thank you to note that the last kilometers to get to the villa are unpaved.

• Cancellation more than 120 days before the arrival date, we keep 10% of the total price of the stay.
• Cancellation between 120 days and 60 days before the arrival date, we keep 50% of the total price of the stay.
• Cancellation between 60 days and 30 days before the arrival date, we keep 75% of the total price of the stay.
• Less than 30 days, we keep 100% of the price of the stay.

My husband and I spent a week at lovely KouMaria. We highly recommend this lovely villa and its infinity pool, which looks out over the Greek mountains. The road to the villa isn't for the faint-hearted, but it is worth the drive. The staff was lovely and responsive!

Breath taking views and tranquility are the highlight of this lovely villa. It is towards the end of an unmade single track road which takes about 25 mins to walk down into Sivota. The villa has everything you need for your stay. Barbara was brilliant. Private Comment Amazing villa in the best location. Die Villa ist etwas ausserhalb von Sivota gelegen und somit sehr ruhig mit einer fantastischen Aussicht. Die Anlage ist am Hang gelegen und von anderen Villen nicht einsehbar. Es gibt 2 absolut gleichwertige Doppelzimmer und eine Einliegerwohnung im unteren Bereich sowie 3 Einzelbetten im Dachgeschoss. Es ist alles sehr sauber und sehr geschmackvoll eingerichtet, es hat an nichts gefehlt. Man ist jedoch auf ein Fahrzeug angewiesen und der Schotterweg macht die Sache auch nicht besser. Der Vorteil davon ist jedoch wenig Verkehr und die Fahrzeuge fahren sehr langsam an die Villen heran. Besonders hat uns der Kontakt mit Mema gefallen, die uns super freundlich empfangen und betreut hat.

We had a lovely stay at villa koumaria last week and we stayed for 9 days which was perfect. Mema was really helpful and easily contactable. The views were absolutely amazing, the kids loved the pool and it was very well equipped. The beaches are fabulous. Amoussa beach was the best one we found, get there by 10.20 to get a sunbed. I would definitely recommend this villa to anyone.
